ArtPix: A Pixel Art Editor for Android
ArtPix is a free pixel art editor developed by Perceptron for Android users. It is a lifestyle application that falls under the hobbies category. You can create pixel art from a field size of 8x8 up to 128x128. The canvas takes up more than 80% of the screen and all screen orientations are supported.
The app supports saving in GIF, JPEG, and PNG formats with or without transparency. You can save images in their original size or enlarged size. ArtPix also allows you to import images from your gallery and has an auto-save feature.
ArtPix provides all basic drawing tools, including onion skinning, a clone tool, and an advanced HSV color picker. You can zoom and move your work with usual gestures, and there are palettes and an axis of symmetry available.
The animation feature has a variable speed, and the sequence of frames can be changed. It is possible to skip frames, which can be used for textures or sprites. The maximum number of frames in the animation is limited only by the capabilities of your device.
